Guitar Lessons Online?  JackTrip is your answer

Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, teachers everywhere, and in every subject, have struggled to master the technology needed to have successful classes, or one-on-one sessions with students.

While this has ironed out quickly in most areas of education, music teachers have been stymied in using zoom, due to the issue of latency. I struggled with this myself, and was lucky to run across a technology that has made online teaching a joy. Latency is very minimal (depending on the location of the student), and the quality of sound is lifelike. JackTrip, as it is known was developed first at Stanford University in the early 2000's.

Since then it has become so easy to use as a teacher and as a student, that most lessons go by without a technical hitch to complain about. The best part is that I can play music simultaneously with my students, whether accompanying their songs, playing classical duets, or just doing some blues improv.

Currently all of my teaching is online. If you wish to inquire about lessons, contact me at pbianculli@gmail.com

I am happy to tell you all I can about JackTrip and how we might start successful online lessons together.
